Worked on multiple projects doing
design and development tasks for enterprise-wide applications. Technologies
used: Java, Maven, Spring, Hibernate, Hadoop, Jersey, Mockito. |
|||
|
• Working on the development of
Technicolor’s MediaNAVI as a product for content delivery that simplifies and
stimulates the media consumption experience by supporting content discovery,
resource information and playback in multiple devices in a seamless way.
Development tasks have included: creation of DRM modules for content
protection (Widevine, Flash Access, AES128), research on CDN platforms,
creation of REST endpoints and the required logic for them, content ingestion
workflow using BPMN. The technologies and frameworks being used in this
project are: Spring 3.0, Jboss 5.1, Java 1.6, Maven 2.2, Jersey, Mockito,
Terracota, Magento, Activiti, Hibernate, JPA, JTA, Oracle 10g, Maxmind (for
Geolocation purposes).• Developed a big-data system for Metamarkets to ingest
a set of real-time bidding (RTB) records and aggregate them along a specific
set of dimensions. The application was needed to be easily programmable in
order to parse different customer formats and send the information as soon as
possible to the cloud for posterior analysis using big-data frameworks and
platforms such as Hadoop MapReduce and Pig for batch processing; Flume (using
customized decorators for a collection flow) and Storm for real time
aggregation. Other technologies used in the project were: Amazon Web Services
(EC2, S3, EMR), Jersey for REST webservices, Git, Azkaban Flow UI, Mockito•
Made some unit tests to Data Mining project for Riot Games. This project is
intended to collect specific hardware information after a requirements test
is run on a user machine.• Created web application for Autodesk to make calls
to the Hydrogen API REST Services in a friendlier way. Hydrogen is a
multi-tenant grid that enables the dynamic execution, coordination and
provisioning of functional engines, and allows the execution of multiple
compute-intensive applications. The application was created using Scala as
programming language, Lift as web framework and Jetty as web container. It
also uses MongoDB in order to store information related to
applications.•Developed software application for analysis of Twitter messages
using Apache Hadoop (HDFS / MapReduce framework) and Apache Pig. The
application queries tweets from Twitter through the Streaming API and stores
them in a distributed file system. Once there, several MapReduce tasks run
over the data to get a set of analysis as follows: Top Twitters, Most
Retweeted Users, Most Used Hashtags, Number of Tweets by Country, Number of
Tweets by Hour, Most Used Sources for Tweets creation, Possitive/Negative
Classification of Tweets, Tweets by Subtopics and Tweets over the world (creating
a Google's KML map file). |
